To say the will (infinite) acts on matter...

To say the will (infinite) acts on matter which is finite is to talk nonsense. The infinite cannot work nor act upon the finite. An infinite will does not act at all; it is, very simply, a will-in-power, more simply still, it is a power. The moment there is an act, this will-in‑power becomes determined as will‑in‑act, is finite no longer.
